How to Relate Leads to Accounts in Salesforce
A common issue companies run into in Salesforce is the existence of leads in their database that are current customers. Leads can come into Salesforce from web forms, whitepapers, list uploads, etc. If nothing is checking to see if these people are current customers, sales reps could end up cold calling these leads only to find out the company is already a customer of theirs…embarrassing, right?!
